About

I've played many gigs and performances in Seattle and Oregon over the years, and held the position of Cathedral Guitarist as St. James Cathedral over a number of years.

I have taught privately and also taught the beginning guitar group class at Nathan Hale Community Night School, and then started the Intermediate guitar class there.

Over the years I have had some good opportunites to play with other musicians, and played in the Canto General by Pablo Neruda and Mikis Theodorakis with The City Cantabile Choir and The Seattle Peace Chorus (1996). I have played live on Seattle's classical music station Classic King 98.1 on the Live By George radio program (1992). More orchestra experience includes performing in Postcard From Morocco by Dominic Argento, Univ. of WA Opera (1991), Latin American Symphonette by Morton Gould with The Seattle Youth Symphony (1991), and transcription and performance with the Peruvian String Ensemble for the U.W., Ethnomusicology Spring Concert.

Recordings include the Berlitz Spanish Language on CD-ROM, Sierra On-Line Software (1994), Spanish Lullabies Vol.1, PraiseArt Productions (1994), and the Swami's Salt N' Pepper Songbook (1996) where I contributed three pieces.

My degree is a Bachelor of Arts & Music from the University of Washington in Seattle, WA (1993).

I have performed in many masterclasses over the years, including masterclasses held by Pepe Romero, David Russell, the L.A. Guitar Quartet, Marc Teicholz, and The Falla Trio
